Experience a moving blend of history and culture in "Mix-Mix: The Filipino Adventures of a German Jewish Boy" at the Los Angeles Theatre Center. The stylized fights in this production choreographed by Guro Alvin Catacutan of Pamana Kali, brings the art of Filipino martial arts to the stage in a powerful portrayal of resilience and survival during World War II.

Written by Boni B. Alvarez and directed by Playwrights' Arena founding artistic director Jon Lawrence Rivera, "Mix-Mix" follows the true story of Ralph J. Preiss as he escapes Nazi Germany and finds refuge in the Philippines. As the war reaches the islands, Rudy Preissman must navigate a new life amidst the chaos.

Don't miss the opportunity to witness this poignant tale of hope and community in times of hardship. "Mix-Mix" runs from May 18 to June 16 at the Los Angeles Theatre Center. Visit https://www.latinotheaterco.org/mixmix for tickets and more information.
